Community Event Series Ticket Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all ticket purchases for Community Event workshops and other educational events organised by Embrace Physio and Pilates ("Embrace Physio and Pilates", "we", "our" or "us").
By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Event Information
The events are an educational workshop presented by qualified pelvic health physiotherapists. The workshop is designed to provide general information and practical strategies to support pregnancy, birth preparation and postnatal recovery.
The workshop is intended for educational purposes only and does not constitute individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. Ticket Purchase and Payment
All ticket prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Tickets are subject to availability.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your booking at least seven (7) days before the event, you are entitled to a full refund.
Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the event are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to another person or to a future workshop. Transfers and credits are offered at our discretion and must be requested in writing at least 48 hours before the event.
If the event is cancelled by Embrace Physio and Pilates, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to a future event.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Changes to the Event
We reserve the right to change the event date, time, venue, presenter, format or content where reasonably necessary.
If a significant change is made, we will notify ticket holders using the contact details provided at the time of booking.
5. Medical Disclaimer
The information presented during the workshop is general in nature and may not be appropriate for your personal circumstances.
Attendance at the workshop does not establish a physiotherapist-patient relationship with Embrace Physio and Pilates or any presenter.
You should seek personalised advice from a qualified health professional before acting on any information provided during the workshop.
6. Participation in Practical Activities
The workshop may include breathing exercises, movement demonstrations or other practical activities.
Participation in these activities is voluntary. You are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for your circumstances.
To the extent permitted by law, Embrace Physio and Pilates is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your voluntary participation in practical activities.
7. Intellectual Property
All workshop materials, handouts, slides, videos and related content remain the intellectual property of Embrace Physio and Pilates unless otherwise stated.
Materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, recorded or shared without our prior written consent.
8. Photography and Recording
We may take photographs or videos during the event for marketing and promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify us prior to the commencement of the event.
Attendees must not record, photograph or livestream any part of the workshop without our prior written consent.
9. Privacy
Any personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
10. Online Events
For online workshops, attendees are responsible for ensuring they have a suitable device, internet connection and access to the required software platform.
Access links and materials are for the registered attendee only and must not be shared.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Embrace Physio and Pilates excludes all liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from your attendance at or participation in the event, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
